The spy thriller Dhurandhar starring Ranveer Singh and Akshaye Khanna has stayed firm at the box office even in the 40 th day of its theatre run. Directed by the Aditya Dhar film, the film has yet again made a big mark in its name as it recorded the highest-ever sixth-week collections of a Hindi film. The movie has been able to sustain good revenues in its sixth week in the movies theatres and this has consolidated its status as the top-grossing Bollywood movie so far.

Although Dhurandhar is starting to experience some signs of slower gradual growth, its steady performance has assisted it to stretch its record of successful performance. As sacnilk.com data shows, the movie has grossed about 2.5 crore in India on Tuesday, slightly higher than Monday, when the movie was able to gross about 2.35 crore. Friday collections were low on the sixth weekend at about Rs 3.5 crore, however, there was an improvement on the weekend with the film earning Rs 5.75 crore on Saturday and Rs 6.15 crore on Sunday. This increased its overall sixth-week income by an approximated of Rs 20.25 crore.

This continuous run has seen Dhurandhar reach the Rs 810 crore nett mark in India and it is about Rs 810.5 crore. It also has a strong showing across the world, as gross collections are estimated to 972.5 crore. The foreign market has added about 290 crore making the total income of the film about 1,262.5 crore worldwide.

The movie has also made a record of the highest earning Hindi movie in its sixth week replacing Stree 2. Officially, Stree 2 had the highest figure of Rs 18.6 crore, and Dhurandhar has outperformed it by a margin of Rs 20.25 crore.

Dhurandhar has been out in its sixth week and is still competing well with new films. Tuesday Prabhas The Raja Saab collected an estimated Rs 4.88 crore which is just a little ahead of Dhurandhar. The film directed by Ranveer Singh has also performed better than the newer releases of Bollywood such as the war based film Ikkis released on the New Year Day.

Dhurandhar on Tuesday officially became a member of the Rs 1,300 crore club in the world. According to statistics published by the production house, the movie has become the second Bollywood film and fourth Indian film in general, to hit the mark.
